Manoa and it's waterfalls from the other large lanai. Swim with the sea turtles at Kee beach, two miles down the road, or lounge at Lumahai beach two miles back the other way. A 10-minute drive takes you to Hanalei, where you can enjoy fine dining, rent beach gear, etc. The beaches in front of the house are also well-known for their variety of seashells. The house is located between the mile 8 and mile 9 markers, and sits at the end of a small cul-de-sac. The house faces the ocean and is well off the road and away from any road noise. The start of the Kaulau trail and the Na Pali coast is two miles from the house, as is Kee beach. This area of Kauai is truly a spectacular place to vacation, well away from the noise of the city, in almost entirely undeveloped area of Hawaii.
