THE WESTSHORE -- This coast is more arid than theWindward coast and has many excellent beaches. This coast isknown for its great offshore fishing spots. This shore is in the driest areas of O`ahu. Be sureyou and any keiki (children) who might be with you drink plentyof fluids to avoid dehydration. Be sunsafe and sensible : Be sure to wear a broadspectrum sun block, tanning lotion, or cream with a sunprotective factor (SPF) of at least 15+ - and re-apply it everytwo hours. Don't forget your sunglasses and to wear a hat with awide brim, too!
