Ula Ula Kumu A popular poi and table taro, this variety has gorgeous red petioles and produces a light colored poi. Lehua Maui This is an improvement over the Lehua Maoli and produces high quality poi from large corms. Lehua Palai'i A heavy yeilding taro that is primarily cultivated under dryland conditions. Ele ele Naioea This is a popular dryland taro prized for luau leaves and it's red poi. Uahiapele A darkly colored taro of a purple/grey hue, this variety is both beautiful and tasty. Bun Long Introduced from China, this taro has a relatively low acridity and is popular for luau leaves and taro chips.
