For something a bit more tropical, try some acoustic Hawaiian slack key guitar, better known as "Ki ho 'alu" here in Hawaii. A few candles or small oil lamps set in a safe location will help create your ambiance, as soft lighting has the ability to set the mood. The soft light from a few candles can really be inviting. I really enjoy a warm bath when the glow from a full moon filters in through the curtains. Aroma has the energy to carry you away, so be sure to add your favorite blend of scented bath salts or bath crystals as you fill your tub. This will soften your bath water and your skin as you soak. If you prefer a more fragrant bath, add just a bit more of your salts or oil to the tub. Just be sure that you don't over do it. Most natural bath and body products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind, but may be irritating if used to excess. A scented candle with a complimentary fragrance can be a nice touch also. Now don't forget to include a glass of wine or sparkling soda to sip while you relax, maybe add some chilled tropical fruit in the summer time. During winter you can always enjoy an exotic coffee and some fine chocolates. Mmmm..... Close the door and take this well earned time to relax! A soft warm shower after you bathe will rinse off any organic botanicals from the bath salts, and a warmed fluffy towel is great to use as you pat dry.
