The Academy's permanent collection of over 35,000 works of art is anchored by one of the finest Asian collections in the United States. Special exhibitions and installations from the permanent collections reflect the encyclopedic nature of the Academy and the diversity of Hawaii by presenting a wide range of cultures, periods and media.
