I have always loved seeing how happy couples are to receive beautiful Hawaii wedding photographs and video. I know most couples who plan a Hawaii wedding would like to have an excellent chance to get a Romantic Sunset Photograph at the end of their Hawaii wedding. Sadly most locations won't have a sunset and most photographers don't know how to capture it on film correctly even if it did happen. New - There are many couples who come to Hawaii who think that the weather in Hawaii is always nice. Many advertisements offer a sunset wedding package even though the sunset is on the opposite side of the island. This is quite common on Kauai and Oahu. People just don't ask enough questions. Hawaii also gets rain all the time. I worked on Kauai for six years and have seen it rain on far too many weddings. The sunsets are almost never visible.Nearly 50% of Kauai weddings get rain. Hanalei gets so much rain you could have a very wet vacation. It can be very nice but you never know. Maui's free locations are usually very small and crowded. The last two times I was on Maui it rained in Wailea and Lahina. I have seen as many as 14 couples show up at the same beach for a wedding.Oahu is fun and has good shopping, I don't consider it a romantic place. Many couples sit in traffic on their wedding day. I know the best sunset wedding location in Hawaii - and it's free. The sunsets are the best in Hawaii all year. It's like a machine - almost every night. Up at Waikoloa, just 25 miles from Kailua Kona on The Big Island of Hawaii, the rainfall is about 6 inches a year. Very little rain and excellent hotels and activities. What a great combination . Other locations on Hawaii Island aren't nearly as nice. I know several of the very best Licensed Ministersin Hawaii and we are offering an unbeatable wedding package. You also can arrange for more flowers, champagne, music, cake etc. if you want. You can customize your ceremony or leave it us - I'll even do a Keep sake edited Wedding Video along with my Forty Print Photography Package (2 still camera shoot - negatives available at $45.00) .You can spend the money you save having fun together on your Hawaii Honeymoon. Plus you will have beautiful wedding photographs and video by Kris. No deposit is required if you are using one of the Licensed Ministers on my list. Just pay the $150.00 ministers fee to reserve your date. The ministers fee is usually sent direct after you make your selection. I like the fact that nearly every couple is in contact with their Licensed Minister / Wedding Officiate.I will hold your date on my wedding calendar if we have the minister booked. Note that $150.00 is deducted from the package price when the ministers fee is paid. Come back and view my site often. I have 1,000's of new photo's to publish. I will also include photo's of some very poor locations. Watch for new photo's at Hapuna, Holoholokai and Harbor Beaches. Also many more at A-Bay. We also have purchased another very expensive computer and more cameras recently. We can now do DVD whenever required. We produce photo CD's several times every week. The most important thing by far is fun professional photography, using the best film, cameras and processing. I have everything covered including the video. Weddings are so much fun in Hawaii - it's the best for wedding photography and ceremonies by the sea. The best location for weddings in Hawaii is here in Waikoloa. No one who wants great Photo's likes rain. Here in Waikoloa you have less than 2% chance of rain and 95% chance of a great sunset. We charge less than many other photographers who don't have the equipment or experience that I do. Within the last month, I spent $8,000 for two new still camera systems complementing my already number one system developed over 12 years for Hawaii Weddings. A very cool 3 chip Digital Sony captures your ceremony by the sea. Nikon, Sony and digital = a great Hawaii wedding - you won't be disapointed. I also do one or two Renewal Ceremonies every month - so romantic. Click Here to Receive Mailer. I am shooting more digital - just like Pro Wedding Photographers all over America. To read the latest about digital wedding photography you can read the same stuff I do every week at: DigitalPhotographers.net One method that works for me is to have 3 cameras. One pro color film, one digital and one backup. This is a slow move to digital. Pro film is still nice with bright highlights - like sunset. Digital images are made availabe on your free web site. I am not substituting to save money on film, it's just that digital is so nice. Actually I am spending lots of money because of the additional cameras, flash and memory cards. Also digital creates endless hours on the computer, but I feel it's worth it now - with the new cameras available. I am always striving to be the very best I can. The prints from digital are made on the same pro photo paper at our lab - made to last 100 years. Digital has arrived and it requires photographers to be computer geeks. I have been editing digital video for years already. Another really great feature about having everything on CD is my ability to edit in some of the best images from the photo shoot when making wedding DVD's - really impressive. Recently we had some bad weather pass by Hawaii. The clouds turned really nice colors after sunset - very very low light and after sunset. With the digital camera I was ready to capture the moment. The scene lasted less than TWO MINUTES. The flexability of digital allowed me dial in the equivelent of ASA 800 film to capture another very special photograph for them - along with the pro film - it's an added benefit that doesn't take away from what I've been doing for many years. This flexability (changing film speed in 10 seconds) is really wonderful. The other benefits of having everything on CD things like cropping and simple retouching at no charge. Also I can make an unlimited number of images. This is great for Photo Journalism style combined with the traditional. Also, if we have everything on CD, magazine style wedding album pages are possible in PhotoShop CS - really cool. Digital cannot be ignored and we are already a digital studio (video).Digital Video is way more complex than Digital Stills. Mention (email me) that you read this and I'll make a free automated website with photographs from your wedding. Available in 1 day. This is nice for family to see your wedding pictures on the net. Usually I email the password once the site is ready. Normally I will leave the site up for 60 days. Should family members want prints they can also order direct. Standard prints including simple retouching and custom cropping are just $10.00 + S/H. I can also host your wedding video on the web - ask for a quote. Video takes much longer to do for the web. Luxury Maui condos have been the focus of master planning since the resort at Kaanapali was conceived. Although home sites are available, the condo complexes are the attraction here. The Kaanapali Alii, for instance, consists of eight acres of luxury Maui condos built right on the white sandy beach. Just up the road at the 1,500-acre Kapalua Resort is an equally sumptuous community consisting of lavish condos surrounded by spas, elegant restaurants, boutiques, tennis courts, horse trails, and world-championship golf courses. At Wailea, south of these two resorts, more secluded, tranquil communities cater to those who also can afford the luxurious surroundings. Wailea's award-winning, luxury Maui condos are designed for privacy and security in gated sites. Fantastic Weather, Stunning Setting The entire southern part of the island of Maui has fabulous beaches, enticing waters, and spectacular vistas of neighboring Lanai and Molokai. Molokai, itself, has some luxury condos set near manicured golf courses. With seven condo projects for viewing, Molokai Hawaii real estate offers a variety of homes on this secluded island. Luxury homes on Maui are in areas with great weather and gorgeous views. Outdoor living is a given, what with the sunny days and pleasant nights. With many recreational activities to choose from, a visitor or resident has a never-ending array of choices every day. Snorkeling, deep-sea diving, swimming, surfing, jet skiing, kayaking--these are a few of the watersports that are available to visitors to this paradise. Once the home of a thriving pineapple plantation, Lanai has reinvented itself as an alluring resort destination offering world-class golf courses and award-winning accommodations . In ancient times, Lanai was thought to be overrun with evil spirits. A young man named Kaululaau, the son of a Maui chief, was exiled to Lanai to explore the island and deem it free of such spirits to make Lanai suitable for settling. A major chapter in Lanais history was penned in 1922, when an enterprising businessman named James Dole purchased the island for $1.1 million. Dole started growing pineapple on his island, and soon canned pineapplea new concept at the timebecame a smash hit on the mainland. In time, tiny Lanai developed into the worlds largest exporter of this succulent fruit. At one point, the island was producing 75 percent of the worlds pineapple. For decades, Lanai was celebrated as Hawaiis flourishing "Pineapple Island." Thousands of acres were dedicated to pineapple, and people came from far and wide to work the fields. In the late 1980s, as the pineapple industry began to wane, Lanai turned to tourism. Two luxury resorts were built: the Lodge at Koele and the Manele Bay Hotel . Also added were a pair of championship golf courses: the Experience at Koele and the Challenge at Manele (designed by Ted Robinson and Jack Nicklaus, respectively). Besides golf, Lanai offers many things to do and see. Go for a swim at picturesque Hulopoe Beach. Snorkel the islands cliff-lined west coast. Explore the Garden of the Gods , an intriguing rock formation reminiscent of a lunar landscape. Hunt for treasures or examine historic petroglyphs at Shipwreck Beach . Admire local artwork at the Lanai Arts & Culture Center, a prominent showcase for community arts. You can even "lock and load" at Lanai Pine Sporting Clays , the only resort sporting clays course in the state.
