It's the most energized town on the island, and you can feel it from the first moment you walk down Front St. The main attractions of Lahaina are within a few blocks of each other. Some of the more interesting sites are the Banyan Tree in the main plaza, the Courthouse, the Baldwin Home, and the Carthaginian II.
