On our lawai stoneware china set you can actually touch to feel the raised bumps that make up the seeds of the lawai fern leaf of these graceful designs. Our tropical stoneware china plate sets are kiln fired at very high temperatures to create a strong heavy-duty stoneware china that resists cracking and chipping resulting in a longer lasting stoneware china that's tough enough for every day use. The colors of the lawai fern set are nicely hand glaze painted with soft forest green color that is darker around the circumference and gradually lightens towards the inner brim of the plate. The lawai fern is a little darker green with the seeds on the leaf raised up to where you can feel them. The white is a natural stoneware white color. The colors of our heliconia set are a dark greenish blue around the circumference. The leaves in the background are light olive green with a large forest greenish blue leaf in the foreground.
